
figureground was founded in 1999 by Nick Zlonis as a small design studio and consultancy in New York, NY. The figureground approach is based on creative problem-solving focused on achieving real results. Over the years, figureground has developed innovative solutions for clients including New York State Department of Transportation, Salon.com, Lifetime Television and Morgan Stanley.
A diverse backgound of experience has shaped Nick Zlonis’ goal-oriented approach to design. His work has been featured in design magazines such as IDANDA and Netdiver and books including Convergences: Message Method Medium by Robert Atwan.
